Background

For our Agile development teams, we are looking for an experienced Senior UX/UI Expert who will help us structurally further professionalize UX and UI within Enexis.

We are not primarily looking for an executive designer, but a specialist who has proven experience in establishing, strengthening, and promoting UX/UI within organizations. Someone who inspires, challenges, and guides our teams in applying modern design principles, design standards, and user research.

Job description

The assignment explicitly focuses on increasing the UX/UI maturity of our development teams, creating a consistent user experience, and ensuring best practices in our way of working.

What will you do?

Develop and professionalize our UX/UI approach.

Establish and maintain UX/UI guidelines and design documentation.

Coach and guide developers, Product Owners, and teams in the area of UX/UI.

Introduce and promote proven best practices within UX and UI.

Support the establishment and further expansion of a Design System.

Conduct and guide user research, interviews, and validation sessions.

Design wireframes, mock-ups, prototypes, and user flows where necessary.

Advise on accessibility (WCAG), usability, and consistent design.

Act as a substantive sparring partner for teams and management.

Strengthen the design culture within the Agile Release Train.

Requirements

HBO or WO work and thinking level.

Minimum 5 years of experience as a UX Designer, UI Designer, Product Designer, or similar role.

Demonstrable experience in establishing and implementing UX/UI best practices.

Experience with coaching, mentoring, and knowledge transfer to development teams.

Extensive experience with Figma or similar tooling.

Experience within Agile/Scrum or SAFe environments.

Strong communication skills in Dutch.

Nice-to-haves

Experience within technical, industrial, or OT environments.

Experience with Design Systems.

Knowledge of Accessibility (WCAG).

Experience with front-end technologies such as Angular, Blazor, HTML/CSS, or TypeScript.
