The Studierendenwerk Osnabruck is the social service provider and partner for more than 30,000 students at four universities in Osnabruck, Vechta, and Lingen.

A balanced and affordable catering service, affordable and individual housing options, and comprehensive and diverse counseling services related to studies are part of our extensive range of services.

In our cafeterias and canteens, we create places where students can feel comfortable, relax, and eat together. For this, we are looking for you - a host with heart, who brings a smile to our students every day.

You want to accompany young people through their daily student life, offer them a meeting place, and create a pleasant atmosphere with your open nature. If you enjoy welcoming people, listening to them, and making them feel good, then you are exactly right with us.

For our location at Schlossgarten, we are looking for you as a host (m/f/d) in full-time - warm, dedicated, and with genuine joy in interacting with students.

Every day with us, you will help shape a small part of campus life and be part of the moments that allow students to relax. Your tasks are varied, close to people, and full of real encounters. With your commitment, you ensure that everyone feels welcome and well looked after.

Requirements

• You ideally have completed training in the gastronomy sector.
• You have at least three years of relevant professional experience in service or communal catering.
• You enjoy preparing cold and warm dishes and presenting them attractively.
• You are creative with food and want to not only meet but exceed the expectations of our students with your commitment.
• You naturally adhere to all health, hygiene, and safety regulations.
• You are resilient and regularly lifting and carrying over 5 kg is not a problem for you.
• You want to make the daily lives of students special together with us.
• You can communicate well in German and feel confident in your communication.
