Seeking a freelance QA Engineer with ServiceNow AI Control Tower experience for a long-term project in the mobility and transport sector. The role involves testing workflows, interfaces, permissions, and governance processes.
Project overview
ServiceNow AI Control Tower Tester / QA Engineer (m/f/d) | Freelance | 12 Months | Remote / Vienna
For a long-term project with a major company in the mobility and transport sector, we are currently looking for a Software Tester / QA Engineer with ServiceNow knowledge.
ServiceNow AI Control Tower (AICT) is being implemented in the project. Your task is to ensure that workflows, interfaces, permissions, and governance processes function reliably.
Responsibilities
Create test strategies, test plans, and test cases
Perform functional tests, integration tests, and regression tests
Test AI Control Tower workflows, especially approvals, risk assessments, and policy checks
Verify interfaces to CMDB, GRC/IRM, and external systems
Test roles, permissions, and access controls
Document, track, and verify the resolution of errors
Prepare and support User Acceptance Tests (UAT)
Collaborate closely with developers, architects, and business departments
What you should bring:
At least 2-3 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance
Experience with test cases, defect management, and UAT
Basic knowledge of ServiceNow or comparable workflow platforms
Understanding of data models, roles, and workflows
Basic understanding of AI governance and risk assessments
Fluent German and English skills
Nice to have
Experience with ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF)
Knowledge of other test automation frameworks
Experience with API testing, e.g., Postman
ISTQB or ServiceNow CSA certification
Knowledge in AI Governance, EU AI Act, or ISO 42001
You are not a proven ServiceNow tester? No problem. If you have solid testing experience, are familiar with workflow platforms, and can quickly learn new topics, we are also happy to receive your profile.
