ServiceNow ITOM Discovery Consultant

Project overview

We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow ITOM Discovery Consultant for a 12-month project in a large, multinational corporate environment. The position is primarily remote with occasional on-site deployments.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for the implementation, configuration, and optimization of ServiceNow ITOM Discovery in on-premises and cloud environments. Your focus will be on CMDB management, ITSM integration, and improving infrastructure visibility. You will design and manage MID Server architectures, discovery schedules, patterns, probes, and sensors. Furthermore, you will support CMDB accuracy through CI identification and reconciliation, as well as collaborate with international stakeholders and distributed teams.

Requirements

At least 5 years of practical ServiceNow experience with at least 2 full ITSM implementations in multinational environments. Proven experience with at least one end-to-end ITOM Discovery Deployment, including on-premises and cloud infrastructure, as well as MID Server design and CMDB reconciliation.

Required Certifications: CSA, CIS-ITSM, and CIS-Discovery.

Further Competencies:

Deep understanding of ITOM Visibility, Cloud Discovery (AWS, Azure, GCP), CMDB Health, Identification & Reconciliation Engine (IRE), and CSDM principles. Solid ITSM knowledge as well as experience with ServiceNow platform fundamentals such as Glide Scripting, JavaScript, Flow Designer, and instance upgrades.

Languages:

English required; French skills are an advantage.
