We are looking for a SIRIUS Senior Expert/Technical & Functional Specialist for our client based in Zurich.

Responsibilities

• Acting as a senior technical and functional expert for the SIRIUS platform, ensuring application stability, reliability and continuous improvement.
• Analysing business requirements and translating them into technical and functional specifications.
• Configuring, maintaining and enhancing the SIRIUS application and its integration with existing IT systems.
• Investigating and resolving complex technical and functional issues, including root-cause analysis and troubleshooting.
• Supporting system integrations, application upgrades, releases, migrations and implementation projects.
• Performing functional testing, integration testing and quality assurance activities.
• Collaborating closely with business stakeholders, software developers, solution architects and external service providers.
• Preparing and maintaining technical documentation, functional specifications and operational procedures.
• Extensive experience as a Senior Application Specialist, Technical Consultant, Functional Specialist or Solution Expert within complex enterprise IT environments.
• Strong technical and functional knowledge of the SIRIUS platform, including configuration, integration and application support.
• Proven experience in business process analysis, requirements engineering and solution design.
• Good understanding of SQL, databases, APIs, web services and system integrations.
• Experience with application lifecycle management, incident management, testing and release management.
• Ability to prepare technical and functional specifications and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and ITIL processes is an advantage.
• Good English and German communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured approach to complex challenges.
• Independent, proactive and solution-oriented working style.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical and functional concepts to different stakeholders.
• Collaborative mindset, adaptability and a strong sense of ownership.
