Job description
As an N2 SOC Analyst for a large telecommunications company, you will participate in the implementation of detection rules and incident response for the CERT.
Project overview
Context
Within the CERT of a large telecommunications company responsible for detecting, preventing, and responding to security incidents on the perimeter of operator networks and information systems, you will report to the SOC manager.
As part of the integration of subsidiaries into the SOC, the analyst will be responsible for participating in the implementation of detection rules to address different threat scenarios and identifying the elements necessary for investigating security incidents.
Missions
Working Conditions
- Build detection rules (verify log collection/parsing, assist in creation and validation)
- Perform certain incident response actions defined in the escalation matrix
- Manage and pick up cases escalated by N1
- Take into account all triggers during on-call duties and standby shifts
- Comply with SLAs
