Project overview

• Design and development of software systems for controlling robotic systems.
• Understanding of the overarching requirements, creation of design concepts and their implementation.
• Ensuring robust and secure communication between different software components.
• Testing and validation of the software to ensure it meets all requirements and specifications. This includes unit tests, integration tests, and system tests.
• Contribution to a state-of-the-art development environment.
• Documentation of code, algorithms, and design decisions

Must-haves:

+ C++

+ Development of mobile manipulators for robots

+ Localization and navigation

+ AMR = Autonomous robots

+ AGV = Autonomous Guided Vehicle

+ AMMR = Autonomous Mobile Manipulation Robot

• 3+ years of experience in software development.
• Practical experience with modern C++.
• Experience with common development tools (git, cmake, xunit/googletest, ...) and workflows (CI/CD, versioning and release management, ...).
• Experience with a range of computer architectures (ARM, AMD).
• Experience in software architecture and design.
• Extensive experience in the production readiness of software components.
• Experience with Docker and SW packaging
• Fluent English, spoken and written
