Responsibilities

Your knowledge:

• Developing modern backend solutions with Python and FastAPI
• Conceptualizing, designing, and implementing cloud-native microservice architectures
• Developing event-driven applications with FastStream and Apache Kafka
• Designing and further developing the target architecture as well as ensuring high quality standards through code reviews
• Deploying and operating containerized applications on OpenShift and Kubernetes
• Supporting the setup and further development of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps processes
• At least 8 years of professional experience in professional software development, including several years of experience as a Senior Developer, Technical Lead, or Lead Engineer
• Excellent knowledge of Python, FastAPI, FastStream, Apache Kafka, Microservices, as well as API Management and REST API design
• Sound experience with Kubernetes and OpenShift as well as in operating cloud-native applications
• Experience in software architecture, Clean Architecture, Clean Code, Domain-Driven Design, and test automation
• Very good knowledge of Git and modern CI/CD processes
• Language skills: German
• Strong communication skills and high team orientation
• Analytical thinking and structured way of working
• High quality awareness as well as enjoyment of coaching and knowledge transfer
