Our client is a well-established investment management and financial services organization seeking a Software Engineer, Test Automation to join their technology team on a contract basis. This role will focus on building and maintaining automated testing solutions for data platforms, ETL processes, and enterprise applications using Python, PyTest, PostgreSQL, SQL, and CI/CD tools. Required Skills & Experience

· 3+ years of experience in Test Automation, SDET, QA Automation, or Software Engineering

· Strong Python development experience

· Hands-on experience with PyTest or similar Python testing frameworks

· Experience testing ETL processes, data pipelines, or backend systems

· Strong SQL skills and experience with PostgreSQL

· Experience creating and maintaining automated test scripts and frameworks

· Experience with Git or other version control systems

· Understanding of CI/CD pipeline testing and release processes

· Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

Desired Skills & Experience

· Experience within financial services, investment management, or fintech environments

· Exposure to Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps

· Experience with data quality validation and reconciliation testing

· Familiarity with workflow orchestration or scheduling platforms such as Airflow

· Experience performing source-to-target data testing

· Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills

· Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration abilities
