• Participation in software development projects with a focus on quality assurance and automated testing
• Conception, setup, further development, and maintenance of solutions for test automation
• Creation and maintenance of automated tests for web applications, user interfaces, backend components, and APIs
• Integration of automated tests into existing CI/CD processes and build pipelines
• Evaluation and analysis of test results as well as comprehensible documentation of errors and test results
• Close coordination with the involved teams from software development, quality assurance, and DevOps
• Software-based systems and applications, especially web applications, backend services, and interfaces
• Use of modern technologies and development environments
• Several years of practical experience in the field of software test automation
• Sound experience in the classic software development environment, for example from industries such as banking, insurance, industry, or comparable sectors
• Very good understanding of software architectures, test methods, test concepts, and software development processes
• Very good practical knowledge of common tools and frameworks for test automation, for example Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress, preferably supplemented by other technologies from web and backend testing
• Very good knowledge of at least one relevant programming language, for example Java, C#, TypeScript, or JavaScript
• Technical or IT-related educational background, for example a degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Software Engineering, or a comparable qualification
• Very good German language skills at least at C1 level, as well as confident communication in speaking and writing
• Experience with DevOps-related topics, especially in connection with build pipelines and the integration of automated tests
