For a leading Swiss financial service provider, we are looking for an experienced Architecture Owner for Continuous Integration (CI) platforms.

The goal is a first-class Developer Experience: The Delivery Team operates and further develops the CI platforms for all developers, promotes their self-efficacy, and offers on-demand support. The focus is on GitLab, Artifactory, SonarQube, and the Internal Developer Portal based on Backstage.

As Architecture Owner, together with the Delivery Team Lead and Product Owner, you form the professional leadership in a trio and implement demanding automations with the team – for example, for rollout, upgrade, housekeeping, self-healing, and integration.

Activities

• Further development, optimization, and renewal of CI tools and platforms: GitLab, Artifactory, SonarQube, and Internal Developer Portal (Backstage)
• Development of innovative solutions that offer transparency to development teams and enable independent, efficient work
• Driving the further development of the Developer Portal (Backstage) according to the requirements of the developers
• Advising the Product Owner on architectural, technical, and security issues of the product roadmap; description and acceptance of architectural artifacts
• Creation of sustainable architectural documentation and guidelines around CI platforms and ensuring their implementation
• Implementation of demanding automations (rollout, upgrade, housekeeping, self-healing, integration) together with the team

Requirements

Framework Conditions

• Tertiary education or further training (FH, Uni) in Computer Science
• Sound technology knowledge and architectural experience in the area of CI platforms (GitLab, Artifactory, SonarQube, Backstage)
• Good knowledge in software development with Go, React, TypeScript, and Java
• Good knowledge of Linux, Shells, and creating Docker images
• Sound knowledge in Observability (Grafana, Prometheus), Helm, Ansible, Git, and AWS
• Consulting skills, personal responsibility, and enjoyment of collaboration in an agile environment
• Experience in the banking or financial sector is an advantage
