Solution Architect Industrial Edge | Freelancer Assignment | Start: November | Duration: 6 Months | Hybrid

Responsibilities

• Consulting and development of the overall technical architecture throughout the entire solution lifecycle.
• Development of scalable end-to-end solutions for networking industrial plants, OT systems, Edge platforms, and cloud services.
• Translation of business requirements into technical architectures, capabilities, user stories, and actionable solution concepts.
• Definition of test, integration, and validation strategies for complex digital solutions.
• Identification and management of technical dependencies, risks, interfaces, and architectural decisions.

Requirements

• Several years of experience as a Solution Architect, Systems Engineer in the industrial, IoT, or software environment.
• Sound knowledge of cloud and edge architectures, IT/OT integration, data platforms, cybersecurity, and identity & access management.
• Experience with industrial communication protocols and technologies such as OPC UA, Modbus, MQTT, and ideally SCADA or DCS environments.
• Experience with system integration, data platforms, cyber security, and interface management.
• Experience in the energy sector, Industrial IoT, or comparable industrial digitalization projects.
• Project-level English proficiency, both written and spoken.
