Project overview

For our client, we are looking for an experienced Solution Architect Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central SaaS to support a strategically important ERP transformation.

We are explicitly looking for an architectural personality with the standing to drive complex decisions, define technical guardrails, and ensure the long-term viability of the solution, rather than an operational developer or project manager role.

Responsibilities

• Responsibility for the overarching solution architecture within the program
• Evaluation of requirements regarding standard functionality, extensions, and integrations
• Definition and enforcement of architectural principles in the BC SaaS environment
• Technical sparring for project management, consultants, and development team
• Conducting architecture reviews during build and test phases
• Ensuring maintainability, scalability, and future viability of the solution
• Support with technical and functional directional decisions

Requirements

• Several years of experience as a Solution Architect in the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central SaaS environment
• Demonstrable experience in greenfield implementations
• Deep understanding of BC standard processes and AL/Extension architectures
• Experience with integrations, APIs, and modern cloud architectures
• Ideally, project experience in manufacturing companies
• Strong fit-to-standard mentality
• Ability to pragmatically and robustly drive decisions
