• Language skills: Negotiable German and good English skills
• Knowledge of Clos networks, RoCEv2, InfiniBand, BGP, VXLAN, and hardware-assisted network telemetry
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code and infrastructure automation, especially Terraform and Ansible
• Knowledge of security architectures and the separation of different security domains
• Experience in the conception and architecture of enterprise or hyperscale data centers, ideally in the HPC or AI environment
• Experience with modern server and accelerator architectures, especially NVIDIA HGX/DGX and/or AMD Instinct
• Experience with high-density data center infrastructures and high power densities of 30–100+ kW per rack
• Experience in the conception and integration of high-performance storage systems and multi-tier storage architectures
• Experience in translating performance and capacity requirements into technical specifications and Bill of Materials (BoM)
• Experience in the technical support of procurement processes for data center and infrastructure components
• Experience in coordination and collaboration with various technical and functional stakeholders
• Experience in creating high-level and low-level hardware architectures (HLD/LLD) for data centers
• Experience in the conception and dimensioning of GPU clusters for AI and HPC applications
• Experience in planning and dimensioning rack landscapes, including rack layout, power supply, and cooling
• Experience in the technical support of the setup and integration of data center and private cloud infrastructures

Service Description:

Support in the planning and technical conception of a modern, high-performance data center architecture, including the creation of a robust Bill of Materials (BoM) for the procurement of the necessary data center components.

• Planning and technical conception of a modern, high-performance data center architecture
• Development of a holistic data center architecture from requirements analysis to procurement readiness
• Creation and detailing of the hardware architecture at high-level and low-level (HLD/LLD) level
• Translation of functional and technical performance requirements into concrete hardware and infrastructure specifications
• Conception and dimensioning of compute, network, and storage infrastructures, including GPU clusters for AI and HPC applications
• Planning of rack layout and space utilization, considering power supply, cooling, and scalability
• Creation of complete, robust, and vendor-neutral Bill of Materials (BoM) as a basis for procurement
• Technical coordination between hardware procurement, software teams, and facility engineering
• Technical support for the delivery, installation, and integration of hardware and private cloud infrastructures
