Job description

We are looking for a Specialist in Land Acquisition and Real Estate to support complex infrastructure projects, focusing on land acquisition, contract processing, and stakeholder coordination.

Project overview

ABOUT US AT KODIAK

We stand for profound expertise in the implementation of complex infrastructure projects. As a reliable partner for project implementers and developers, we realize demanding linear structures, energy, and infrastructure projects throughout Europe, whether onshore, offshore, or in the modernization of existing networks.

With us, it's about more than just technology: We believe in real collaboration, personal development, and space for new ideas. Our specialists think projects holistically, act solution-oriented, and accompany complex projects from the initial concept to commissioning, with passion, responsibility, and an eye for the essential.

Responsibilities

REQUIREMENTS & YOUR EXPERTISE

  • Operational support in land acquisition and voluntary land purchase for dike construction and infrastructure projects, from data preparation to successful purchase agreement processing.
  • Preparation and analysis of GIS, cadastral, and planning data (ALKIS) as well as creation of parcel plans and project documents. You will supplement and maintain owner data through research in resident registration offices and authority inquiries.
  • Application for custodianship of absent owners as well as maintenance and updating of owner files and land acquisition databases.
  • Support in the creation and processing of purchase agreements as well as participation in the further development and application of contract templates.
  • Organization and execution of owner discussions and on-site appointments. You will conduct negotiations with property owners, document the results, and accompany the acquisition process until completion.
  • Creation and dispatch of project-related correspondence within the scope of the land acquisition process.
  • Obtaining consents from tenants, managers, and other users as well as processing and coordinating related inquiries.
  • Accompanying appraisers and experts during evidence preservation measures and site inspections.
  • Creation of regular reports, tables, maps, and status overviews on the progress of land securing and land acquisition.
  • Close cooperation and continuous coordination with clients, planning offices, authorities, appraisers, and other project participants.
  • Support in the preparation of documents for ownership transfer, release, and compensation calculations in the context of monetary settlement.
  • Participation in the preparation of documents for possession orders, expropriation, and other official procedures.
  • Ensuring structured, timely, and legally compliant documentation of all land acquisition-relevant processes.
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in land acquisition, real estate management, infrastructure, or environmental projects.
  • Studies in environmental sciences, nature conservation, environmental protection, civil engineering, or a comparable field of study are an advantage.
  • Knowledge of ALKIS and GIS systems (e.g., QGIS, ArcGIS) is desirable.
  • Experience with LaRa or comparable land acquisition management tools is an advantage.
  • Strong communication skills as well as a structured and self-reliant way of working.
