Project overview

For a long-term industrial project at the Salzgitter site, we are looking for an experienced specialist planner for sprinkler systems (m/f/d) with in-depth knowledge of planning stationary fire extinguishing systems.

We are seeking an experienced specialist planner who can independently take on planning tasks and is familiar with the special requirements of industrial plants and buildings.

• Specialist planning and dimensioning of sprinkler systems for industrial buildings and plants
• Processing of the relevant service phases according to HOAI, especially LPH 2–7
• Creation of planning concepts, technical drawings, and execution documents
• Performing and reviewing hydraulic calculations for sprinkler systems
• Use of the planning software WIN Sprink
• Planning considering applicable regulations and guidelines, especially VdS CEA 4001, DIN EN 12845, and possibly FM Global
• Coordination of sprinkler planning with other MEP trades, architecture, and structural fire protection
• Creation of technical specifications and support with tenders and awards
• Technical coordination with project participants and responsible specialist bodies
• Completed degree in building services engineering, building technology, fire protection technology, or comparable qualification
• Alternatively, a state-certified technician with the relevant specialization and relevant planning experience
• Approx. 5–7 years of professional experience in planning sprinkler systems, ideally in an industrial environment
• In-depth knowledge of relevant sprinkler and fire protection guidelines
• Practical experience in processing relevant HOAI service phases, ideally LPH 2–7
• Experience with the planning and calculation software WIN Sprink
• Confident handling of hydraulic calculations and technical design of sprinkler systems
• Demonstrable experience in industrial projects or industrial buildings
• Experience in cross-trade planning coordination
• Knowledge of FM Global Data Sheets and corresponding requirements for sprinkler systems
• Experience with complex industrial plants, production facilities, or logistics buildings
• Knowledge of other CAD or BIM planning tools
