Project overview

Context of the mission

As part of a project to modernize storage infrastructures within several industrial data centers, the service involves qualifying, integrating, and deploying an iSCSI network architecture to support critical virtualized environments.

Missions

Skill development on the client context, particularly operational, security, and availability constraints;

Support for qualifying the target infrastructure;

Analysis of the urbanization study carried out for the installation of equipment;

Definition of a storage migration plan (virtualization farm), including the switchover strategy and associated schedule;

Writing technical documentation:

Installation Guide;

Architecture File;

Security and Operations Documentation;

Maintenance Guide;

Installation of network cards dedicated to iSCSI connectivity;

Installation and cabling of storage arrays in data centers;

Installation and cabling of associated network equipment;

Coordination of flux openings and network configurations carried out by the relevant teams;

Integration of the solution within the existing virtualization infrastructure;

Migration of virtual machines to the new iSCSI storage architecture;

Support for deployment on other sites and data centers;

Updating asset repositories and inventory tools (CMDB and technical asset management tools).
