Interim Strategic Advisor needed for the Amersfoort Region to advise on spatial development, nature, landscape, water, and soil. The role involves participating in and chairing various administrative and executive meetings, building networks, and coordinating regional cooperation.
Project overview
Profile of the suited interim professional:
- Following developments in space, nature, landscape, water, and soil at the national, provincial, regional, and local levels
- Advising and supporting administrative and executive consultations of the Amersfoort Region
- Participating in and chairing the administrative consultation green, water, and rural area (AOLG) and the administrative consultation space (AOR)
- Acting as secretary for the executive consultation green, water, and rural area (BOLG) and executive consultation space (BOR)
- Building and maintaining alliances and networks with administrators, executive boards, civil servants, and stakeholders
- Coordinating area cooperation within the Heuvelrugcorridor alliance together with a colleague from MRU-West
- Organizing and advising administrative, director, and executive consultations, and establishing connections with parties such as the Province of Utrecht, Defense, and the Utrechtse Heuvelrug National Park
- Ensuring the input of the Amersfoort Region within the Utrecht Rural Area Program (UPLG)
- Exploring possibilities for Executive Steering Groups in the Eemland, the Utrechtse Vallei, and the Utrechtse Heuvelrug
- Advising on the spatial development of vital cores in the region, including issues related to housing, business parks, and Defense expansion
- Working and thinking level at HBO or WO level
- Demonstrable experience in the physical domain within government
- Experience operating in a politically sensitive administrative context
- Analytical and strategic thinking ability
- Affinity with working in a government organization and the political-administrative playing field
- Networking skills with vision and creativity
