TenneT is the leading European grid operator and plays a key role in the energy transition. With over 23,500 kilometers of high-voltage connections and nearly 5,000 employees, TenneT ensures a safe and reliable electricity supply in the Netherlands and large parts of Germany.

You will be working within the Offshore unit. This unit works on the realization of offshore grid connections that contribute to a reliable and sustainable energy supply.

Within the Offshore unit, you will work for the Project Procurement & Category Management department. This department supports projects with specialized procurement activities and tender processes.

Within the department, you will work in the Offshore Procurement Team, consisting of 14 colleagues. Together, you will work on the realization of 2GW offshore grid connection projects, an essential task for the energy transition. The team has an open and involved work atmosphere, where pleasant collaboration is central. The team's activities directly contribute to the expansion and sustainability of the Dutch high-voltage grid.

• The candidate has relevant experience as a strategic buyer with complex (infrastructure) tenders
• The candidate has at least a higher professional education (hbo) work and thinking level, supplemented with relevant procurement training
• The assignment requires regular travel to the United Kingdom
• The VOG (Certificate of Conduct) must be obtained before the candidate can start
• The candidate may only start after the pre-employment screening has been completed
• The candidate possesses a valid passport or a valid identity card at the intake and on the start date of the contract and can present this identification for verification
• The candidate must be available for the full requested period in the application
• You have experience with complex (infrastructure) tenders, preferably in the field of cables
