• Definition of strategic positioning: with which products in which industries and geographies which revenues are to be achieved by 2035
• Analysis of market, technology, and industry trends driving future market development
• Evaluation of growth potentials in existing and new target markets (industries and regions)
• Derivation of a consistent market and sales strategy from the overarching corporate strategy
• Identification of strategic thrusts (organic growth, new market segments, portfolio expansion)
• Development of a roadmap with prioritized milestones until 2035
• Close collaboration with management, sales, and product management
• Preparation and presentation of the strategy for top management

Requirements

• Several years of experience in strategy consulting (top strategy consulting)
• Proven experience in conducting and supporting strategy processes
• Basic understanding of metal production or metal processing industry
• Experience in developing long-term growth and market strategies
• Confident use of trend and market analyses as well as scenario techniques
• Very good communication and presentation skills at top management level

Nice to have

• Experience with international market development strategies
• Knowledge of common strategy frameworks (e.g., scenario planning, portfolio analyses)
• Experience in collaborating with sales and product management in manufacturing companies
• Fluent German and English language skills
