- The Stream Lead ensures that all participants cooperate in a coordinated manner, dependencies are transparent, and migrations are implemented on time.
- The Stream Lead bears overall organizational responsibility for controlling application migrations from the setup of the target infrastructure through re-deployment and release to the handover for decommissioning of the old systems.
- The focus of the role is on coordination, transparency, schedule control, stakeholder management, and escalation management. The technical implementation of the migrations is carried out by the respective specialist teams.
- The Stream Lead ensures that all participants carry out the right activities at the right time and that any obstacles encountered are quickly resolved.
- End-to-end coordination of application migrations within the scope of the data center relocation
- Planning, control, and monitoring of migration activities from the provision of new servers to the decommissioning of old systems
- Coordination with infrastructure, platform, and application teams as well as other relevant stakeholders
- Coordination of the provision of IT resources at the target location by the infrastructure teams
- Scheduling and control of re-deployments by the responsible application operations teams
- Ensuring the execution of smoke tests and obtaining the necessary technical and business approvals
- Tracking of open points, risks, dependencies, and measures
- Moderation of coordination rounds, workshops, and decision-making meetings
- Active escalation management for delays, resource conflicts, or technical problems
- Coordination of the handover of successfully migrated systems to the infrastructure teams for shutdown and decommissioning of the old infrastructure
- Setup and continuous maintenance of transparent monitoring of progress, status, risks, and dependencies of the migrations
- Creation of status reports, key figures, and management reports
- Maintenance and further development of the Jira processes and dashboards used for migration control
Requirements
Framework Conditions:
