Job description
The role involves qualifying and developing suppliers regarding quality requirements and process capability, as well as ongoing monitoring and evaluation of existing suppliers. You will also be responsible for supplier assessments, defining improvement measures, and developing quality guidelines.

+ Qualification and development of suppliers regarding quality requirements and process capability
+ Ongoing monitoring, evaluation, and assessment of existing suppliers
+ Conducting supplier evaluations and deriving and tracking improvement measures
+ Establishment, coordination, and further development of quality guidelines, testing concepts, and quality-relevant documents in collaboration with internal departments
+ Definition and coordination of test characteristics and quality requirements in cooperation with development and design
+ Organization, preparation, and leadership of supplier acceptances (FATs) as well as documentation of results
+ Support with complaints and root cause analyses in cooperation with suppliers and internal departments
+ Ensuring compliance with quality standards along the supply chain
+ Participation in the continuous improvement of quality processes and supplier performance
Requirements
+ Completed technical or scientific degree, for example in mechanical engineering, production technology, materials science, quality management, or a comparable field
+ Several years of professional experience as a Supplier Quality Engineer, Quality Engineer, or in a comparable role
+ Experience in supplier management as well as in conducting supplier audits and acceptances
+ Strong communication and assertiveness skills
+ Ability to reliably interpret technical drawings, manufacturing documents, and electrical schematics
+ Confident use of standard MS Office applications
Good knowledge of manufacturing processes such as:
Milling
Welding
Sheet metal processing
