Job description
The role involves planning and coordinating production and procurement needs based on sales forecasts and customer orders, optimizing inventory, and ensuring timely material supply. The planner will also manage production orders, monitor supplier performance, and collaborate with various departments.
Project overview
+ Planning and coordination of production and procurement needs based on sales forecasts and customer orders
+ Optimization of inventory, delivery capability, and supply chain processes, considering costs and capacities
+ Control and monitoring of production orders, as well as optimization of production sequences and setup times
Material requirements planning and disposition to ensure timely material supply
+ Monitoring of delivery dates, order confirmations, and goods receipts, as well as clarification of discrepancies
Identification and elimination of material bottlenecks, as well as initiation of appropriate measures to ensure production
+ Coordination of production and procurement plans with purchasing, production, sales, and other departments
Monitoring and optimization of inventory KPIs, stock levels, and buffer/safety stocks
+ Analysis and evaluation of supplier performance regarding punctuality, quality, and delivery reliability
+ Coordination of complaints and escalations in case of delivery deviations and supply bottlenecks
+ Maintenance and adaptation of planning and procurement data in the ERP system
+ Participation in cross-departmental projects to optimize production planning and supply chain processes
Requirements
+ Project management experience and several years of experience in supply chain planning
+ Practical experience with SAP processes and ERP systems, ideally SAP EWM
+ Experience in optimizing and stabilizing production and supply chain processes
+ Knowledge in inventory management, production control, and the elimination of material bottlenecks
+ Experience in collaborating with purchasing, production, logistics, and suppliers
+ Very good German and English language skills
+ Analytical, structured way of working, as well as strong communication and assertiveness skills
+ Absolute hands-on mentality
