Context

Within a telecom link substitution program for a critical infrastructure operator (electrical environment), you will provide field support for the deployment of copper local loop (FBLC) replacement solutions and for the RT3 program, across a network of technical sites distributed throughout the territory.

Expected Skills

• Qualify substitution solutions site by site: analyze existing services, choose technologies, estimate costs
• Prepare and monitor deployments: planning, site visits, coordination of internal teams, operators, and service providers
• Write architecture and engineering files
• Manage the asset review (plans and diagrams)
• Manage migrations and removal of obsolete equipment
• Ensure management of remaining lots
• Telecom infrastructure: copper local loop, leased dark fiber (rental or IRU), internal fiber, passive infrastructure (connectivity, cabling, racks, distribution frames)
• Wireless technologies: VSAT, microwave links, 3G/4G/5G radio routers, PLC
• Networks and protocols: LAN, WAN, MPLS
• Analog and IP telephony: PABX, IPBX
• Electrical substation environment: technical and regulatory constraints, interactions with industrial automation and associated services (remote administration, access control, remote metering, remote alarm, alarm broadcasting)
• Data analysis: Power BI, Qlik
• Multi-team coordination (business lines, technical, service providers, IT) and meeting facilitation
• Project management: planning and monitoring of deployments and migrations under time constraints
• Problem analysis and resolution: identification of substitution solutions suitable for each site, estimation of costs and risks
• Writing technical specifications, study reports, and procedures
