System Engineer Cloud Platform (Kubernetes, Linux)

Project overview

For our client, we are looking for a System Engineer Cloud Platform (m/f/d)

Our client, a public institution, operates an air-gapped cloud platform in multiple data centers. A System Engineer is sought for the deployment, installation, and operation of this platform. The work is 100% remote, with a planned duration from 10/26/2026 to 12/31/2027. Readiness for a security check (SÜ2) and German citizenship are prerequisites.

Responsibilities

• Deployment and installation of the air-gapped cloud platform in multiple data centers
• Operation and administration of the platform in the isolated environment
• Administration of Kubernetes, Linux, network, and hardware in the data center environment
• Work according to Scrum and ITIL processes

Requirements

Very good German language skills, both written and spoken, are required.
