Role: Team Lead Loan Processing

Responsibilities

• You will take over the personnel and technical leadership of a team in the area of loan processing.
• In day-to-day business, you will ensure clear prioritization, appropriate task distribution, and risk-aware case processing.
• You will ensure that internal guidelines, quality requirements, and regulatory frameworks are reliably taken into account.
• You will actively manage complex and particularly sensitive loan commitments and support the definition of suitable processing strategies.
• You will regularly review existing workflows and develop them further with a view to efficiency, quality, and legal certainty.
• You will translate strategic decisions from management into concrete measures for your area of responsibility.
• You will contribute your technical expertise in selected customer appointments and maintain close contact with management.

Requirements

• You have a banking apprenticeship or a comparable professional or academic qualification.
• You have practical experience from the cooperative banking environment and are familiar with its structures, processes, and regulatory specifics.
• You have many years of practical experience in processing loan commitments, especially in the area of processing or problem loans.
• Ideally, you have already managed employees. Alternatively, you have the potential and motivation to take on leadership responsibility for the first time.
• You quickly grasp complex issues and derive comprehensible and viable decisions from them.
• A structured, self-reliant, and solution-oriented way of working characterizes you.
• You have a confident demeanor, take responsibility, and communicate confidently with various stakeholders.
