Team Leader General Equipment Management

Project overview

As an interim team leader, you will temporarily take over the daily management of the Building and Equipment team within a hospital environment.

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Managing 15 to 20 employees, including mechanics, a planner, and a work preparer
• Distributing tasks and determining priorities on the work floor
• Conducting individual performance, development, and collaboration discussions
• Addressing employees regarding attitude, behavior, and adherence to agreements
• Handling and resolving tensions or collaboration problems within the team
• Coordinating with the planner and work preparer on the progress of maintenance and malfunctions
• Monitoring agreements with suppliers and ensuring documentation and certifications
• Aligning activities with Asset Management and the project organization
• Reporting progress, bottlenecks, and risks to the cluster manager
• Ensuring a clear handover upon the return of the permanent team leader
• Working and thinking level at HBO (higher professional education) level, with a technical direction such as civil engineering, mechanical engineering, or electrical engineering
• At least 3 years of management experience gained in a technical environment
• Proven experience in the daily management of an operational technical team
• Experience in temporary or interim management positions
• Practical experience in conducting difficult conversations and guiding attitude and behavior
• Coaching and connecting style combined with decisiveness and determination
• Technical knowledge sufficient to understand maintenance issues and malfunctions
• Preferably experience within the healthcare sector or a comparable environment with a focus on continuity and safety
• Available on very short notice and willing to work most of the work week on location
