Team Manager Business & Information Management (interim)

Project overview

As team manager, you will lead two teams within the Information Provision department, comprising around 30 professionals.

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Leading approximately 30 employees across two teams, with responsibility for results, personnel, and budget
• Supporting the department manager in communicating vision and ambitions and translating them into concrete goals and work agreements
• Working towards achieving set management goals
• Conducting conversations with employees about their ambitions, results, and planning, including evaluating actions and providing feedback
• Collaborating with the other team manager to implement a uniform working method within BIM
• Maintaining contact with managers, product owners, and policy advisors from other departments and with the management team of IV
• Acting as a sounding board for the teams and ensuring clarity and job satisfaction
• HBO/WO work and thinking level
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a manager in a government organization
• Experience with coaching conversation techniques, including giving and receiving feedback
• Experience in guiding change processes focused on standardization and professionalization
• Combination of vision and strategic and tactical skills
• Attention to employees and contribution to a pleasant working climate
• Open and solution-oriented attitude
• Basic knowledge of the information provision field in general (desirable)
• Preferably at least 3 years of management experience within an information provision environment in government
