Team Manager Legal Affairs, Policy and Advice (interim)

Project overview

As an interim team manager, you will temporarily lead the Legal Affairs, Policy and Advice team within the VVH department of the municipality of Zoetermeer.

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Directing, coaching, and supporting the employees within the team
• Ensuring continuous continuity, quality, and progress in the work
• Setting priorities and overseeing the distribution of work, capacity, and results
• Participating in the VVH management team and contributing to joint decision-making
• Acting as a sounding board for employees, fellow team managers, and management
• Promoting collaboration with other teams and with internal and external partners
• Identifying bottlenecks and taking appropriate measures
• Following ongoing files with attention to legal, organizational, and political-administrative interests
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a team manager, department manager, or comparable leadership role within a municipality or government agency
• Demonstrable experience in directing, coaching, and supporting employees
• Willingness to be structurally physically present at the location in Zoetermeer
• Minimum completed HBO Bachelor's degree level education
• Experience in managing professionals in the legal and/or policy field
• Experience as a participant in a management team within a municipal organization
• Experience within the domains of Safety, Permits and Enforcement, VTH, Public Order and Safety, or Permitting
