Technical end-responsibility within the task force

Analyzing and solving complex migration issues on the Azure Data Platform

Assessing data lineage, data quality, and migration impact

Solution directions for complex cases: XML processing, data modeling, and reporting migrations

Coaching medior and junior engineers

Translating architectural frameworks into reusable patterns, in coordination with architecture and delivery teams

Monitoring technical quality, performance, and maintainability

Supporting decision-making with impact analyses and technical advice

Background of assignment

To complete the data migration from TERAdata to Azure (cloud) before the end of the year.

Requirements

Only Dutch CVs to be submitted and candidates must speak Dutch perfectly.

Assignment is less suitable for ZZP'ers (freelancers) due to DBA law

Azure Data Platform (including Synapse, Databricks, Data Factory)

Power BI: data models and reporting

Strong SQL knowledge and Azure Solution Architecture

Data warehousing and dimensional modeling (star/snowflake)

ETL/ELT principles and performance tuning

Azure DevOps: Pipelines, Repos (Git), Boards and CI/CD

Nice to have

Python, Scala, dbt and Microsoft Fabric

XML processing and data lineage tooling

Security-by-design and data governance (e.g., Unity Catalog, AVG)

Minimum 8 years of experience in Data & Analytics (8 years)

Minimum 3 years of experience in a technical lead role (3 years)

Extensive experience with building and modernizing data platforms on Azure

Experience with government and/or data-intensive organizations is a strong plus

Experience with migration, modernization, and transformation projects in complex chains is preferred

Additional Information

When you offer a professional to us as a supplier and they are placed, we will need information from you as a contracting party, including regarding the Chain and Client Liability Act (Wet keten- en inlenersaansprakelijkheid).

The purpose of the 'WKA' is to prevent abuse in the remittance of payroll taxes at all links in the chain; from supplier to client.

We cover these risks for our clients by means of a blocked account, the G-rekening.

This is an account to which a portion of the invoice amount is deposited and from which you can pay payroll taxes and VAT to the Tax Authorities.

The percentage to be deposited depends on whether you have a SNA certification (NEN-4400-1 or NEN-4400-2) or not, and whether your company is located in the Netherlands or abroad.

You can apply for the G-rekening from the Tax Authorities.

If you cannot obtain a G-rekening (and you can provide proof of this from the Tax Authorities), you also have the option to provide an auditor's report (assurance report regarding personnel lending) every quarter.

In this, a certified accountant (AA or RA) will issue a statement about the correctness, completeness, and timeliness of the remittances.
