(Technical) Business Analyst – Compliance ETL / AFC & AML

Project overview

The focus of this engagement is the functional support of Compliance ETL (CETL) as a central data provisioning application for AFC compliance systems. The tasks include, in particular, the collection of business requirements for data and data analysis in the First-Line systems (FL systems), the translation of these requirements into data requirements for the FL systems and into transformation requirements for the CETL. This primarily involves the normalization, standardization, and enrichment of data. Furthermore, the implementation of the requirements will be supported and tested.

Detailed Task Description:

The assignment comprises a total of 75 project days between 16.11.2026 and 30.06.2027. Of these, 35 days are in 2026, and 40 days are in Q1 and Q2 2027.

The remote share is approximately 95%, with only 5 days on-site in Frankfurt.

Skills

• Analysis of business requirements for data and data flows
• Transfer of requirements into data requirements for the source functions / systems
• Conception and requirement of transformation logic in Compliance ETL, especially normalization, standardization, and enrichment
• Transfer of requirements into the application-specific data model of the AFC compliance systems
• Definition and conception of tests, including test data requirements
• Execution of tests and acceptance of the implementation
• Several years of experience as a Business Analyst, Technical Test Analyst, or in a comparable role
• Very good SQL skills and experience in analyzing and validating large datasets
• Experience with data flows, data processing, transformations, and loading logic
• Experience in technical test support for data migrations and system or interface conversions
• Knowledge of test management, especially in test analysis, test data definition, test execution, and results documentation
• Experience in the conception and testing of data processing rules
• Experience in collaborating with IT teams and distributed project teams
• Knowledge of the CETL environment and Smaragd tools is desirable
• Support of tests for TCM and CRS as well as data delivery for customer and transaction data
• Analysis, isolation, and documentation of errors and deviations, as well as support in their resolution
• Technical test support for interfaces and business adapters, including for TCM, GWT, CRS, and MDS
• Support of the technical acceptance of CETL implementations and business adapters
