The Bergstrasse district team ensures attractive living and working conditions for approximately 275,000 citizens in the 22 towns and municipalities. Technical Employee for HVAC

Salary group 11 TVoD or Salary group 10 with allowance (depending on training) Full-time (part-time possible) fixed for two years

The School and Building Management facility is responsible for all district-owned and leased properties, including schools. In the Technical Building Equipment department T-2, 15 colleagues take care of HVAC, electrical, digital infrastructure, and energy in our 76 schools and five administrative locations, thus making an active contribution to the energy transition and the implementation of the climate protection concept in the Bergstrasse district at all associated public properties.

Your future area of responsibility

• Primarily, you will coordinate expert inspections for the ventilation systems of district-owned properties and the resulting defect rectifications in a cross-trade work team
• You will be responsible for quality controls and actively manage maintenance
• You will provide support in the equipping, maintenance, and servicing of our building services systems for the heating/ventilation/air conditioning/sanitary system group for district-owned properties (schools, sports halls, administrative buildings, etc.)
• You will participate in and supervise external planning/engineering offices during new construction, conversion, and renovation measures

• You have completed a degree in engineering or completed training as a technician or a completed training as a master craftsman in the field of heating/ventilation/air conditioning/sanitary
• You have already gained professional experience in one or more of the mentioned system groups, preferably in ventilation
• You are familiar with the basic cross-trade functionality of building services systems in the area of fire protection, as well as the relevant technical regulations, applicable ordinances, and connection conditions
• You are familiar with common regulations, e.g., HOAI and HVTG
• You actively participate in on-call duty (four to six times a year for one week each)
• You possess a Class B driver's license or a valid driving license
• You have acquired CAD skills or are willing to acquire them
• You are familiar with common office applications
• Working with CAFM software is a matter of course for you
