Technical Product Owner

Project overview

Management of hardware and payment integrations including certification, piloting, and rollout. Coordination of external hardware manufacturers and software service providers. Recording and technical evaluation of requirements as well as creation of user stories and change requests. Backlog, release, and change management. Management of smaller development and optimization projects. Execution of functional tests and technical documentation. Further development of Linux-based systems and preparation of a new operating system version, taking regulatory requirements into account.

Knowledge of Linux/embedded systems, scripting with Python or Bash, and software development. Technical understanding of networked hardware, mechanics, and electrical engineering. Experience with technical user stories, change requests, and release management. Experience in managing external service providers. Structured, independent, and reliable way of working. Willingness to perform practical tests on test systems, very good German language skills.

Requirements

Experience with log analysis and monitoring, e.g. Elasticsearch/Kibana or Google Cloud Monitoring. Knowledge of Docker and container environments. Experience with payment terminals and electronic payment transactions. Knowledge of Jira and Confluence. Experience with rollouts and networked self-service systems.

Utilization: 20 hours / week.
