Technical Product Owner, remote, full-time, immediate start

Project overview

We are looking for a freelance Technical Product Owner for our client. Currently, the product responsibility for around four projects and products lies with almost one person. The new role will take over operational product work and thus noticeably relieve the client. Development is done in .NET and C#, organized in Jira and Confluence.

Responsibilities

• Gather requirements directly from stakeholders and translate them into technical feature requirements
• Write clean tickets with clear acceptance criteria in Jira
• Accept implemented tickets, acting as a Quality Review against the quality requirements for code and solution
• Measure quality and monitor ongoing projects
• Daily stand-up with product responsibility, contact person for developers during core hours
• Address poor performance or deviations in the project openly

• Approximately five years of professional experience, ideally as a Product Owner in a project with multiple developers
• Background in web development, either coming from development or having worked at the interface between business and development for a long time
• Good understanding of code and some QA experience (no code review required)
• Proficient in Jira and Confluence
• Native level German (C2)
• Very high self-organization and a confident demeanor, even when pushback is required
• Experience with .NET and C#
• Certifications such as PSPO I/II, Scrum or agile project management
• Start: from immediate effect
• Core hours: Daily at 8 or 9 AM
• Location: 100% remote
• Utilization: 100%
• Duration: 3 months, extension to 6 months likely
