Project overview

For our client, the Swedish Police Authority, we are looking for a consultant for the assignment below:

Assignment Description:

The Project Manager shall plan and manage the logistics for incoming and outgoing deliveries of products/hardware. The Project Manager is part of the establishment team. The assignment involves dialogue and contact with several internal interfaces, both with the business and other groups within the IT department.

The assignment involves exporting content in Excel templates and compiling which products are needed per camera establishment. A camera establishment is defined as a cohesive geographical area where cameras are to be installed for police camera surveillance. Based on the product lists, the Project Manager compiles picking lists. The Project Manager packs and places equipment/products on pallets and ensures that the right equipment/products are sent at the right time to the right address based on information from the assignment manager so that camera establishment can occur.

The Project Manager shall, with the help of warehouse staff, always have access to updated inventory balance so that the Project Manager can inform the group manager when purchases need to be made.

The Project Manager personally receives product deliveries and repacks them on pallets to send the products on after having confirmed receipt and entered the products into the Excel template.

The Project Manager shall work closely with the establishment teams in the Camera Group, with warehouse staff, and with the business's camera groups.

The Project Manager also has close contact with suppliers to always have precise control over incoming products.

For this assignment, a high social ability is required as the assignment requires many contact points both internally within the organization but also externally. Furthermore, it is required that you are very meticulous and structured in your work approach.

Security Process:

The Swedish Police Authority places high demands on the consultant's security and confidentiality awareness. A security assessment with a background check and the signing of a security protection agreement according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may be carried out by the consultant and the consultant's employer before the Assignment Agreement can take effect. The security assessment is paid for by the subcontractor. In some cases, Swedish citizenship is required.

Financial Control:

To ensure stability, the supplier must submit a financial background check via UC showing the company's risk class. If a subcontractor (UL) is hired, a separate check must also be attached for them. All certificates submitted for verification must not be older than three months from the last application day.

Bid Evaluation: (Ework makes the selection)

Ework will make an initial selection and present bids to the client for final evaluation.

Interview:

The consultant/supplier may be called for an interview if necessary to establish qualification requirements.

Contractual Terms:

• The consultant must have at least 3 years of documented experience working with warehouse management (inbound and outbound deliveries) within a public authority.
• The consultant must have at least 3 years of documented experience working with processes within warehouse and logistics within a public authority.
• The consultant must be accustomed to working with surveillance camera products.
• The consultant must have good knowledge and documented experience of working with Excel.
• The consultant must have a good ability to express themselves verbally and in writing in Swedish.
• The consultant should have experience working in security-classified operations.
• The consultant should have experience working within the judicial system.
• The consultant should have experience working within the public sector.
