Technical Project Manager / Technical Migration Lead
Responsibilities
- Overall technical coordination of the migration project
- Conducting application analyses and deriving migration strategies
- Translating business requirements into technical work packages
- Creating and maintaining migration plans
- Managing schedules, risks, and dependencies
- Moderating technical workshops with Application Owners and infrastructure teams
- Realistic effort estimation and expectation management towards the client
- Ensuring the technical quality of the migrations

We are not looking for a classic organizational project manager, but rather a technically oriented project manager
who can speak with Application Owners on an equal footing,
recognize technical risks early on, and derive robust migration and implementation plans from them.

- Several years of experience as a technical project manager in infrastructure, data center, or cloud migration projects
- Demonstrable experience in migrating complex enterprise applications
- Very good understanding of: Network architectures, IT Service Management processes, Security Best Practices
- Experience with Git, GitHub, and CI/CD environments
- Ability to read and technically classify Terraform code
- Database systems and database migrations
- Reverse Proxies
- Authentication and IAM procedures
- Certificate management
- Application and middleware architectures
- Analysis of software dependencies and interfaces
- Strong communication and moderation skills
- Confident demeanor towards clients and technical stakeholders
- High degree of independence and implementation orientation
