Project overview
My customer is currently looking for a Technical Consultant/Solution Architect to consult an ongoing UK project. The role provides the technical depth needed to investigate the existing enterprise IT landscape, applications, and dependencies and to translate findings into actionable recommendations for the project.
The consultant is expected to work with a high degree of analytical autonomy, conducting technical assessments across applications, integrations and data flows, identifying complexity, risks and optimization opportunities, and providing robust technical input for solution evaluation, cost assessment and the transformation roadmap.
Core mission: Build a fact-based technical view of the current IT landscape and convert complex findings, risks and dependencies into actionable solution and transformation recommendations.
IT Landscape & Application Assessment
Analyze the existing IT landscape and relevant applications.
Map and assess technical dependencies across the landscape.
Conduct technical assessments and identify optimization opportunities.
Integration, Interfaces & Data Flows
Evaluate system integrations and interfaces.
Analyze relevant data flows and associated technical dependencies.
Identify technical complexity, risks and dependencies that affect solution choices.
Solution Evaluation & Transformation Input
Create structured technical analyses and solution evaluations.
Translate technical findings into actionable recommendations.
Provide technical input for cost assessments.
Provide technical input for the transformation roadmap.
