For our client, we are looking for a Technical Project Coordinator / MEP Site Manager to support the project starting immediately.

Responsibilities

Technical Project Coordination

Interface Management Operations and Construction

Commissioning, Handover, and Warranty

Documentation, Compliance, and Reporting

• Coordination of technical trades, especially HVAC, Electrical, Measurement and Control Technology, and Building Automation
• Tracking of deadlines, decisions, defects, and actions
• Identification, assessment, and escalation of technical risks
• Advising project management on technical issues and goal conflicts
• Coordination between the operational facility management team, project management, specialist planners, and executing companies
• Incorporating project requirements into planning, execution, and commissioning
• Ensuring the operational and maintainable nature of technical solutions
• Clarification and follow-up of cross-trade dependencies
• Project coordination of commissioning, functional tests, and technical acceptances from the operator's perspective
• Accompanying operator handovers, including follow-up on outstanding items and defects
• Advising on warranty and follow-up processes
• Ensuring the handover of relevant documents for operation, maintenance, and proof of compliance
• Ensuring structured technical documentation
• Support with audit and compliance-relevant requirements
• Tracking of technical findings, actions, and decisions
• Regular preparation of the technical status for project management and facility management leadership.

Requirements

• Several years of project experience in technical project execution, MEP site management, site supervision, or client representation in complex buildings
• Experience in renovation and refurbishment projects during ongoing operations, ideally in office or administrative buildings
• Sound knowledge in HVAC, electrical engineering, measurement and control technology, building automation, fire protection technology, commissioning processes, and defect management
• Basic knowledge of VOB (Vergabe- und Vertragsordnung für Bauleistungen) and HOAI (Honorarordnung für Architekten und Ingenieure) as well as understanding of interfaces between specialist planning, execution, site supervision, and client functions
• Understanding of operator responsibility, inspection obligations, maintenance, upkeep, warranty, and auditable proof of compliance
• Experience with CAFM / documentation systems, defect management tools, or digital construction platforms; knowledge of Planon is helpful
• Strong communication skills towards project management, operations, specialist planners, and contractors.
• Assertiveness combined with a solution-oriented and cooperative working style.
• Structured follow-up of open points, risks, defects, and decisions.
• High site presence and good understanding of the requirements of ongoing building operations.
