Technical Writer Product Safety

Project overview

We are looking for a Technical Writer Product Safety for our location in Göttingen. The position is designed as hybrid and offers the opportunity to work in a future-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

You will support conformity assessments and risk assessments of machinery and technical products. You will create and maintain technical documentation, operating manuals, and installation declarations. You will research relevant standards, directives, and legal requirements and apply them. You will participate in CE marking and support product approval and market launch processes. You will also maintain and structure technical content in editorial and documentation systems.

Requirements

You have a degree or technical training in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, technical writing, or engineering. You have initial knowledge in the area of CE marking, conformity assessment, or risk assessment. You have technical understanding and are interested in product safety and regulatory requirements. You work confidently with technical documentation and ideally have experience with common documentation systems. Very good German language skills (at least C1 level) are required.
