We, Cologne Intelligence, are an IT service provider based in Cologne and are looking for a Food Chemist / Food Contact Materials Domain Expert (m/f/d) for a digitalization project with one of our clients.
A modern application will replace the existing system landscape for the evaluation of food contact materials and is intended to support the entire conformity assessment process. For this, we are looking for a person who will act as an interface between the business team and our development team.

- Translating regulations and assessment logics into technical requirements.
- Business support for the migration of a legacy application with a focus on master and business data as well as assessment logics.
- Knowledge carrier for questions from the team on topics such as LIMS, MATEXX, or general business aspects in the field of food chemistry.
- Development of business reference and test cases for calculation and assessment logics, as well as analysis of deviations.
- Degree in Food Chemistry or comparable qualification.
- Sound practical experience with Food Contact Materials or a related field.
- Very good understanding of regulatory requirements, assessment logics, limit values, and conformity checks.
- Sound LIMS knowledge and experience with laboratory processes and data.
- Good German and English language skills.
- Experience in digitalization or software projects, especially with business tests, reference cases, or acceptance criteria, is an advantage.
