• Development, maintenance, and execution of automated tests for APIs, backend processes, messages, and user interfaces.
• Automation of positive and negative payment flows including error handling, settlement, and reconciliation.
• Building reusable test data, mocks, and regression suites.
• Analysis of test results and logs, recording reproducible defects, and collaboration with development and business analysis.
• Integration of automated tests into CI/CD and transparent documentation of coverage.
• Hands-on experience with at least one tool or stack such as Selenium, Playwright, Cucumber, Tosca, or Java-based test frameworks.
• Experience with API testing, XML/JSON, SQL, and automated validation of message content.
• Knowledge of end-to-end payment flows, ISO 20022, and at least one scheme such as SEPA, Instant Payments, RTGS, or ACH.
• Clean test case design, defect documentation, and agile collaboration.
• For Medior profiles, practical testing experience with PPI TRAVIC-Payment Hub is required; for Junior profiles, demonstrable TRAVIC training plus payment testing practice is sufficient.
• Automated testing of TRAVIC-related routing, mapping, validation, enrichment, and exception scenarios.
• Understanding of upstream, sidestream, and downstream interfaces, as well as end-to-end correlation of transactions and logs.
• Performance testing tools, service virtualization, and container/CI/CD experience.
• Knowledge of fraud, sanctions, or reconciliation scenarios.
• ISTQB Foundation or Test Automation Engineer.
• Maintainable automated test scripts and regression suites.
• Versioned test data and reusable test components.
• Automation and coverage reports.
• Traceable defects including evidence and reproduction steps.
• Mention of the frameworks, programming languages, and CI/CD tools used.
• Concrete description of automated payment and TRAVIC scenarios.
• Transparent classification as Junior or Medior based on hands-on experience.
