Junior Account Manager

• Minimum 2 years of experience in creating and maintaining functional and technical test cases for web applications (frontend and backend)
• Minimum 3 years of experience with exploratory tests and regression tests using test management tools (e.g., Jira/Xray)
• Minimum 2 years of experience testing user roles, permissions, and access controls
• Minimum 2 years of experience with Confluence for test documentation, creation of test completion reports, and bug tracking
• Minimum 1 year of practical experience with Git (version control, branch management, and code reviews)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in an agile Scrum environment as a software tester in public sector projects
• Expert knowledge in test automation with Playwright and TypeScript
• Experience in automating frontend and backend tests, including debugging
• Experience with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD), Cucumber, and Gherkin
• Expert knowledge in REST API testing, including JSON test data
• Solid experience with Docker and containerized test environments
• Solid experience with GitLab CI and integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Experience in optimizing test processes and automation strategies
• ISTQB certification and experience with load and performance testing are advantageous
• German language skills at least at C2 level and English language skills at B2 level

Primarily remote within Germany / on-site in Berlin as needed

Service Description:

• Planning and execution of manual software and system tests for web applications (frontend and backend)
• Analysis and review of requirements, and derivation of manual and automated test cases
• Execution of exploratory tests, regression tests, as well as functional and non-functional tests
• Creation and maintenance of test documentation, test reports, and error analyses
• Ensuring test coverage and adherence to defined quality standards
• Conception, implementation, and maintenance of automated end-to-end tests
• Execution of API, interface, and acceptance tests
• Integration of automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Collaboration with development teams and stakeholders in an agile Scrum environment
• Start: 2026-11
