Job description
We are looking for a manual tester for a core banking system renewal project. The role involves manual testing of the core banking system, interfaces, and related applications, as well as test case creation and defect documentation.
Responsibilities
- Manual testing of the new core banking system as well as adjacent systems and functions
- Manual testing of web interfaces and desktop applications
- Testing of interfaces and web services with Postman, REST and SOAP
- Creation and maintenance of test cases from business requirements and user stories
- Regression, integration, and acceptance testing, defect documentation, and retesting
- Participation in the anticipated setup of test automation in the further course of the project
- Close coordination with business departments and application development in an agile team

- Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or comparable qualification
- Several years of experience as a manual tester, ideally with ISTQB
- Postman as a daily tool for testing interfaces and web services
- Experience in test automation for the anticipated setup in the project
- Test case creation from requirements, regression and acceptance testing
- Ideally banking experience, proficient in coordination with business departments
- Willingness to be on-site 2 days a week and predominantly present during onboarding
- Very good German and English language skills
