Seeking an interim Traffic Engineer to advise on traffic-related issues within a central plan, support the implementation of 30 km/h zones, and review traffic designs and measures.
Project overview
Profile of the suited interim professional:
- Advising on traffic engineering issues within the central plan
- Supporting the implementation of 30 km/h zones
- Advising on various smaller infrastructural and traffic engineering projects
- Reviewing traffic engineering designs, measures, and plans
- Coordinating with project leaders, policy advisors, residents, external agencies, and other stakeholders
- Writing traffic engineering memos, analyses, and advice for management and the organization
- Demonstrable work experience as a traffic engineer at a municipality
- Familiarity with applicable laws and regulations, guidelines, and CROW publications
- Practical experience in traffic safety, speed measures, and area development
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in project teams
- Strong oral and written advisory skills
- Experience within a municipal context is recommended
