Job description
GFN GmbH is seeking freelance or permanent trainers for IT specialist system integration courses, covering both online and in-person instruction.
Project overview
As an IT-focused educational provider, GFN GmbH supports people nationwide in their further training and professional reorientation.
For instruction in the subsidized education sector, we are looking for trainers on a freelance or permanent basis for in-person and online instruction in our retraining and IT further education courses.
Responsibilities
IT training on the following topics (FISI focus):
- Introduction to network technology (network topologies, network components, interconnecting devices, protocols, OSI layer models)
- Equipping an IT workplace (hardware and software)
- Current server and client operating systems (Windows, Linux)
- Server fundamentals
- Virtualization, cloud computing
- PowerShell
- IT security (attack vectors, firewalls, DMZ, encryption, VPN, virus protection and removal)
- Data protection (GDPR) and data security
- Exam preparation
Requirements
- Teaching experience in adult education, ideally in the subsidized education sector (proof required)
- IHK instructor qualification (AEVO) or the willingness to obtain it
- Completed IT training/computer science degree or equivalent
- Current manufacturer certifications, e.g., Microsoft Azure (AZ 104), Linux Essentials/LPIC1, or CompTIA certifications, are advantageous
- Willingness for continuous professional development
