Our client

On behalf of our client, a specialist in electrical engineering solutions and services, we are looking for a Project Buyer (M/F) to support the development of its activities in the Île-de-France region.

In a demanding technical environment, you will contribute to the economic performance of operations by managing the procurement for several operational entities. You will work closely with field teams and suppliers to ensure competitive purchasing conditions, tailored to project needs and aligned with company objectives.

Role and missions

Reporting to the purchasing function, you will cover a multi-site scope and will be responsible for the following:

Regular travel to the various sites within the scope is expected. A company vehicle will be provided for business travel.

Candidate profile

With a higher education degree (Bac+5 level), you have at least five years of experience in operational purchasing, ideally in a technical, industrial, or energy-related environment.

You have good knowledge of electrical engineering and are proficient in the main negotiation, sourcing, and purchasing optimization levers. You are comfortable with IT tools and performance indicator tracking.

Beyond your technical skills, you are distinguished by your rigor, autonomy, and organizational skills. Your ability to unite diverse stakeholders. Your analytical mindset and results orientation.

• Purchasing strategy: define and deploy purchasing action plans in collaboration with operational teams.

• Economic optimization: identify cost reduction levers and improve overall purchasing performance.
• Sourcing and market watch: identify new partners and analyze market trends.
• Performance monitoring: prepare reports, track key indicators, and propose corrective actions.
• Cross-functional coordination: collaborate with operational teams and purchasing contacts to support projects.
• User support: promote best practices and facilitate the use of purchasing processes and tools.
