Urgent Requirement: Freelance SAP HR Data Analyst – SAP Business Data Cloud | 8 Months

We are urgently looking for a freelance SAP HR Data Analyst to support an HR data and analytics programme.

You will work between HR stakeholders and the Data & Analytics team, translating business requirements into reliable data models, KPIs and reporting solutions using SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC), Snowflake and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).

• Duration: Approximately 8 months initially, with possible extension
• Workload: Full-time
• Working arrangement: Hybrid; location and on-site requirements to be confirmed
• Language: English required; Dutch and/or French advantageous

• Lead workshops with HR stakeholders to define data requirements, business rules, KPIs and reporting needs.
• Explore and assess SAP BDC HR data products, including structure, granularity, historical data and quality.
• Design analytical data models and KPI calculations.
• Support data engineers integrating SAP BDC data products into Snowflake.
• Contribute to reporting and analytics delivery using SAC and Snowflake.
• Test, validate and reconcile data against source systems.
• Apply appropriate governance and privacy controls when handling sensitive HR data.
• Share SAP knowledge and best practices with the wider analytics team.
• Hands-on experience with SAP Business Data Cloud and its data products.
• Strong understanding of SAP SuccessFactors and/or SAP HCM data and processes, including employee master data, organisational structures, positions, time management and payroll-related data.
• Strong SQL, data exploration and profiling skills.
• Experience in analytical data modelling, KPI development, testing and reconciliation.
• Ability to translate business requirements into clear functional specifications.
• Familiarity with SAP Analytics Cloud.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently with business and technical stakeholders.
• Understanding of HR data privacy and GDPR requirements.
• Snowflake.
• Power BI, Tableau or Sigma.
• SAP HR analytics delivery within large organisations.
