  • Monitoring contractual and financial agreements and assessing additional and less work and change proposals within the granted mandate.
  • Proactively informing the project manager about progress, deviations, risks, and finances.
  • Assessing and monitoring performance statements, work plans, quality plans, and V&G plans for the traction power activities.
  • Coordinating and preparing permits, work windows, de-energizations, and commissioning moments in collaboration with the project team and operational organization.
  • Maintaining coordination with Infrastructure Service and other involved disciplines regarding interfaces with operations, exploitation, and maintenance.
  • Engaging specialists in a timely manner and preparing documents for handover files.
  • Developing, updating, and executing risk-based supervision plans for traction power activities.
  • Supervising work on traction power supply within railway engineering projects, including, where applicable, HV/LV and DC installations, power and return current connections, cables, earthing, and switching installations.
  • Technically assessing drawings, calculations, and execution documents, including selectivity, short-circuit withstand, cable routing, earthing and return current, SCADA/control interfaces, and FAT/SAT results.
  • Contributing specific knowledge of traction power supply, RET installations, and switching diagrams and advising on technically feasible solutions.
  • Verifying that work is performed in accordance with contract documents, drawings, specifications, approved work plans, applicable standards, and safety regulations, including EVH, NEN 3140, and NEN 3840.
  • Monitoring and coordinating technical interfaces between power supply and, among others, track, civil engineering, technical automation, train control, and operations.
  • Overseeing compliance with VGM (Safety, Health, and Environment) obligations and EVH procedures.
  • Checking for correct de-energization, earthing, and switching operations.
  • Monitoring project-specific availability and continuity requirements for the power supply and timely signaling of risks for operations and commissioning.
  • Performing night and weekend supervision during de-energizations.
  • Acting as WV (Work Supervisor) or VP (Competent Person) HV/LV in accordance with EVH and STIPEL, as applicable within the relevant activities and designation.
  • Executing and monitoring switching operations and de-energizations.
  • Preparing and monitoring switching letters and earthing plans.
  • Overseeing the correct execution of RI&E (Risk Inventory & Evaluation), TRA (Task Risk Analysis), and LMRA (Last Minute Risk Analysis).
  • Working in accordance with the applicable access, work, and safety regimes for tram and metro infrastructure and, where applicable, monitoring Metro DVP (Driver's Permit) authorizations.
  • Preparing and, where agreed, chairing construction, work, and coordination meetings and ensuring adequate reporting.
  • Monitoring schedule, availability, quality, and safety.
  • Assessing FAT/SAT reports, inspection and test reports, as-built documentation, and contributing to controlled commissioning and handover.
  • Recording and monitoring deviations, outstanding issues, and open actions until handover to management and maintenance.
  • Reporting to the project manager.
  • Completed technical education at a minimum MBO-4 level, preferably electrical engineering or installation technology.
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience with supervision and/or inspection within rail or transport infrastructure.
  • Demonstrable technical knowledge of traction power supply and rectifier substations.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of high voltage (up to 23 kV) and low voltage (up to 690 V).
  • Demonstrable experience with rail infrastructure projects where the power supply forms an integral interface with track work and operational exploitation.
  • Experience with activities during de-energizations, commissioning, and work in an operational rail environment.
  • Experience with coordinating contractors, supervisors, and technical specialists within multidisciplinary projects.
  • Knowledge of SCADA/control systems and demonstrable experience with testing and commissioning of traction power installations.
  • Demonstrable work experience in the field of traction power supply and/or railway engineering projects with a substantial traction power component.
  • Railcenter training 110 (Traction Power Engineering) and Railcenter 122 (Competent Person Traction Power Supply) is a plus.
  • Experience with Systems Engineering, verification/validation, and traceable handover and transfer files is a plus.
