Contract VMware Virtualization Specialist to work 100% onsite in São Paulo (preferred) or Rio de Janeiro, starting 01/11/26. The role focuses on implementing and maintaining VMware-based virtualized environments, administering and optimizing vSphere clusters and vCenter, managing VM compute/storage/network resources, executing P2V/V2V migrations, implementing security/backup/DR policies, troubleshooting performance/availability issues, and automating operations using VMware PowerCLI and scripting. VMware certifications such as VCP (and ideally VCAP) are requested.
Responsibilities
- Ps: Preferably collaborators from São Paulo, if there are difficulties to find here we can analyze from Rio de Janeiro as well.
- Implementation and maintenance of virtualized environments using the VMware platform.
- Administration and optimization of VMware vSphere clusters, ensuring high availability and performance of the systems.
- Management of virtual machines (VMs) and associated storage and networking resources.
- VMware vCenter Server configuration and management, including monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Planning and execution of migrations from physical to virtual (P2V) and virtual to virtual (V2V) servers.
- Participation in projects for the integration and updating of VMware infrastructures.
