• Overall responsibility for the planning, control, and implementation of the OCSP service in compliance with time, cost, quality, and resource objectives
• Management of project resources, milestones, quality gates, backlogs, and sub-projects
• Responsibility for budget planning, cost control, and risk management, including derivation and follow-up of measures
• Active stakeholder and committee management, including organization and leadership of steering committees
• Derivation of requirements, creation of architectural concepts (together with specialist departments), and provision of evidence for audits
• Contract and claim management, including change requests and acceptance of services in close coordination with Legal, customers, and external partners
• Overall technical coordination, defining the approach, and ensuring solution quality
• Transparent project documentation and regular reporting to management and relevant stakeholders
• Preparation and presentation of complex issues in a management-ready, decision-oriented manner, and confident demeanor in committees, customer appointments, and audits
• Implementation and monitoring of customer SLAs: definition, implementation, and ongoing monitoring of contractually agreed service levels (e.g., availability and response times of the OCSP service), including reporting to customers and initiating countermeasures in case of deviations
• Leadership of interdisciplinary project teams, even without disciplinary authority (lateral leadership), as well as strong social skills and team spirit

Your Qualifications

• Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable field, or equivalent practical experience
• Several years of experience as a Project Manager or Product Owner in the Trust Center environment, ideally in building highly available services
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards (eIDAS, ISO, ETSI, CA/B Forum) and the ability to translate them into technical requirements and architecture
• Sound knowledge of PKI, X.509 certificates, OCSP, and HSMs
• Confident use of classic, hybrid, and agile project management methods
• Knowledge of relevant legal and regulatory requirements for Qualified Trust Service Providers, Public Certification Authorities, or service providers in the telematics infrastructure
• Good English skills (B2)
• Experience with project and risk management tools, as well as project controlling and reporting, also in agile and hybrid contexts
• Experience in the secure application of agile methods such as Scrum and Kanban in planning, prioritization, and control of product development
• Experience in preparing, accompanying, and conducting external audits
• In-depth PKI knowledge: X.509 certificates, certificate lifecycle, revocation mechanisms (OCSP, CRL), and associated RFCs (e.g., RFC 6960, RFC 5280)
• Confident knowledge of relevant regulations and standards: eIDAS, ETSI standards (e.g., EN 319 401, EN 319 411), CA/Browser Forum Baseline Requirements, possibly Mozilla Root Store Policy, and BSI requirements
• Experience with highly available architectures: redundancy, geo-redundancy, load balancing, caching/CDN, failover, monitoring, and definition and adherence to SLAs and SLOs
• Knowledge of relevant standard software and hardware, such as Key Management, Certificate Lifecycle Management, QSCD, OCSP, HSMs
• Confident and convincing demeanor in committees, customer appointments, and audits
• Ability to convincingly present complex issues at management and customer level, as well as to quickly grasp complex interrelationships
• Independent and structured way of working: responsibility for roadmap, backlog, prioritization, and budget, as well as the ability to make and defend decisions independently
• Assertiveness and negotiation skills: ability to enforce requirements and priorities with management, development, operations, compliance, and security, even in the event of conflicting goals
• Strong communication skills with internal stakeholders and customers: clear communication of complex technical and regulatory topics, understanding customer requirements, and professional expectation management
